The Cinema
Cinema arises from the need to express, connect with a message, the message that a masterpiece expresses and that is why it should be rewarded. How many memories do people keep as a result of a movie that has marked them?
This is exactly what the academy initially sought to recognize from different approaches the best of cinema each year, however, an unprecedented ceremony has arrived, the 100th edition of these recognitions, therefore, the academy has decided to operate in a differently, not rewarding the best of the cinema of the last year, we will do much more than that, we will reward the best and the best of the cinema of the last century.
This decision will be in the hands of the BOG, some special guests and those people who have enjoyed the cinema, the general public. In your hands, starting today, is the past, present and future of cinema. They will seek to reward the best of the best that has passed through the seventh art and they will have to become the most experts to build the most memorable ceremony that the Academy has ever done before.

About the topic
The 100 years of the Oscars… This great event seeks the best of the best in the industry cinematographic. Throughout its history, great films and shorts have been made, each one of them with each of the people who have contributed to these projects, but this year it is not Like the rest, this year perfection is sought. As we mentioned that the organization “The mission of the Academy is to preserve the past, honor the present and shape the future of cinema” (OSCARS, n.d.).

To continue with the development of our history it is important to take into account some questions that will help guide your research and topics of utmost relevance for development from the committee:
What do you think should be the criteria for a film to be awarded with an Oscar award?
How would you benefit if one film or the other wins the award for the 100th anniversary edition of the Oscars?
What can you do if you become Governor to grow your branch?
Should the work be separated from the artist?
What are the strengths and weaknesses of your character within the Board of Governors?
How might the challenges of modernity affect the future of cinema and what opportunities might arise from these?
How can members from outside the Academy contribute to the nomination and award categories?
What have been the most controversial actions your character has taken in the film industry and what contributions has he/she made to the industry?
